Marry, Date or Dump: Winnie the Pooh, Tigger and Eeyore

Today we travel deep into the hundred acre woods. If you think it is strange to picture dating a personified stuffed animal, I don’t blame you …. but we probably can’t be friends. List which character you would marry, date and dump in the comments section – feel free to throw in opinions on other characters from the books.

  1. Okay this is a bizarre thing to contemplate! lol Let’s see…dump Eeyore, his downer outlook would be too much. Date Tigger because he’s zany and high energy and that’s fun for a while. So by process of elimination I guess that means I would marry Pooh Bear. 🙂

  2. I’m still not sure how I feel about marriage, but I’d definitely date Tigger between these three options. I might sympathy date Eeyore once or twice, actually, but I would never, ever date Pooh. Only for love of my son do I tolerate this lead character!

  3. Ok, this was so hard at first I thought it was obvious – date Tigger – marry Pooh and dump Eeyore – however, the more I thought about it the more conflicted I am – probably the two most important qualities to me are an optimistic nature and intelligence. What to do? However, the more I thought about my requirement for an optimistic nature the more I thought it was really about making the best of things rather than a sunny disposition. Eeyore certainly makes the best of things on his birthday when he receives a empty honey pot and a burst balloon. So in the end after too much consideration I arrive at marry Eeyore, date Tigger and dump Pooh.

  4. I am absolutely in love with Pooh — when I started dating my husband, the first Christmas we were together he bought me a giant Pooh — I think that sealed the deal; I would drink with Eeyore and adventure with Tigger – but date neither; if I had not met my husband–Pooh would be it–hands down
