This is list, prompted by the weekly book meme from The Broke and the Bookish, was super fun to pull together. I’m sad to see 2013 go, but I’m excited about all the great books coming out in 2014. There are especially a lot of new YA novels being released by authors that I love. Without further ado, here are the top ten 2014 releases I can’t wait to get my hands on.
Let me know in the comments what new books your excited to read next year.
I had no idea there was a new Rainbow Rowell! Thanks.
Here’s my book list for 2014!
Your list is fun. I like the idea of it being the year of the reread.
Great list! I can’t wait for Landlines!
I know, I’m so excited to read something of Rowell’s that is in the adult world.
Me tooo! I can’t help but expect it to be heart-breaking and brilliant.
I’ve got to read The One to find out what happens and how the author wraps up the trilogy! Isla and the Happily Ever After also sounds adorable! 🙂 My TTT list: http://aliceinreaderland.com/2013/12/02/2014/
Alice @ Alice in Readerland
Yeah, I can’t wait for The One. Also Stephanie Perkins (author of Isla and the Happily Ever After) is one of my favorite contemporary YA authors. If you haven’t read them, you should check out Anna and the French Kiss and Lola and the Boy Next Door.
Great picks! I’m really excited to see how it all ends for America in The One. Also really can’t wait for Jenny Han’s new book, I loved her Summer series. My TTT
Thanks. If America doesn’t end up with Maxon I’m going to be super grumpy.
Sounds like a great list and I’ve seen the Libba Bray one recommended so many times now I really have to go back and read the first one!
I really enjoyed it. It is paranormal YA set in the 1920s, which I thought was really unique and fun.
All of these look so good. Why are there not more hours in the day 😦
I know. I’m glad so many books are published (obviously as an aspiring author) but sometimes I just want the good ones to slow down so I can catch up.
