THE SISTERHOOD OF THE TRAVELING PANTS, by Ann Brashares, were some of my favorite books and movies when I was a teenager. I loved the idea of a magic pair of pants that made everyone look good. And I loved the characters of Tibby, Lena, Bridget, and Carmen. Which each book and each reread my favorite character changed. Sometimes I liked Bridget for being so sassy and confident. Other times I related with Lena for being shy, or Carmen for wanting to be a writer and an actress. I don’t know if Tibby was ever my favorite, but I did find her sense of humor hilarious. To play along let me know who you would marry, who you would date, and who you would dump from the girls below. Since there are four characters to choose from if you want to date two of them or dump two of them (or even marry two of them) then go right ahead!

Fair enough. I totally understand associating the characters with the girls who play them in the movie. I think one of the reasons I love Lena, is I also watched Gilmore Girls and loved Alexis Bledel on that show.
Date Bridget and Tibby. Marry Lena. Dump Carmen.
I always found Carmen to just be a little over-dramatic about everything in her life.

I agree about Carmen being dramatic, but I think I would marry Lena, date Bridget and Carmen, and dump Tibby.
Yeah, Tibby was a tricky one. I didn’t know where to place her.
Yeah, I never really connected with her. Lena and Bridget were definitely my favorites.
I think I would marry Tibby date Lena and Bridget and dump Carmen – never really related to Carmen and while I related to Lena the most I would worry about her having secret thoughts she never shares.
Very interesting. I would worry way more about Tibby having secrets than Lena… but I obviously have a bias.
