This is my favorite genre, I can’t believe somebody actually made a brief history! It’s so funny cuz for school I am reading “Brave New World”, the first YA dystopian novel, and at home I’m going to read “The One” as soon as it’s released. Also, I am amazing by how ‘unknowing’ my English teacher is. Before reading this post, I told her about how much “Brave New World” resembled the genre that most of us, young adults, are reading. She had NO idea what I was talking about. She just nodded. I felt so disappointed, as if I told her something that was so stupid she didn’t even bother to reply to. But I was totally right. SO. That’s what I wanted to share. Thanks Hardcovers & Heroines!
