Okay, so I’m not going to lie. This week’s top ten tuesday, the weekly book meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, stumped me. It is hard to compare Twilight with Pride and Prejudice (both of which are on the list) and decide which book is more swoon-worthy. So just in time for Valentine’s week, this is my random mish-mash of books that I find incredibly romantic and/or have become slightly obsessed with.
What books make you swoon? Tell me about them. I’m ALWAYS looking for another one.
Boy Meets Boy is on my list, too!

That book is so cute! I was excited to see Fangirl on your list as well. I resisted putting it on this week, because I feel like it is always on my top ten list, but Levi …. he is pretty much as swoonworthy as they come in my opinion.
Anna and the French Kiss is on my list too, mainly because I’m totally in love with Etienne! I can’t believe I forgot The Time Traveler’s Wife though.

Love Etienne. I’m so glad Anna and him made an appearance in Lola and the Boy Next Door. I’m hoping they all appear in the next book as well.
Hopefully! I’m really looking forward to reading Isla, and it would be really nice if they were all in it.
Lola and the Boy Next Door is on so many lists today. WHY HAVEN’T I READ IT YET???
Maybe I’ll start it today when I don’t get the books in the mail I’ve been waiting for 😀
Definitely start it. I can not exaggerate how much I loved this book.
A Discovery of Witches is a really good choice! I didn’t even think about that one, but it definitely fits.

Thanks for commenting. That is definitely a book I was a little obsessed with while I was reading.
I loved this book, too. I was a bit disappointed with the second book, Shadow of the Night, but not enough to keep me from eagerly waiting for the third installment. -RB
Hello, my name is RB and I’m a Twilight addict. I was flipping through channels on Saturday and caught the tail end credits of Breaking Dawn 2. Carter Burwell was all it took for the addiction to take hold. Again! I’m in the middle of re-reading Twilight for the hundredth time now. -RB
I can definitely relate. I remember reading the books for the first time in college and everyone was making fun of the books, and I was like “but I love them.”
Can’t believe you left off Fangirl – I might have to add Anne of Green Gables and The Once and Future King.
I feel like I’ve been putting Fangirl on every top 10 list. Anne of Green Gables is a good call though (although to me the miniseries is more swoonworthy than the books).
I didn’t read Ella Enchanted until 9th grade, and Char still made me swoon. Um and Gibs in Then I met my sister, too. Like, can I just make out with your face? Too wonderful but real. Not at the P&P or Twilight level, but very pleasant all the same.
Ella Enchanted is such a good one. Prince Char was probably my first literary crush. I thought he was SO DREAMY. I haven’t read the other book though. Should I?
