While it may no longer be a truth universally recognized that a single man in possession of a good fortune must be in want of a wife, it is definitely true that all Jane Austen fans should be rejoicing that the Colin Firth/Jennifer Ehle BBC Pride and Prejudice mini-series is now available on Amazon Prime. In celebration, I invited you to choose between the gaggle of Bennet sisters for who you would marry, who you would date, and who you would dump. Super excited to see who you pick!
In oldest to youngest order, here is a refresher on the Bennet ladies with a few adjectives to describe them.

Ok, I think I would marry Jane, date Lizzie and dump Lydia
Whoa, interesting choice to marry Jane over Lizzie. Not what I expected.
I would tend to agree with your mom… except I could dump any of the younger three… Lydia just really is the biggest snot of them all… All of us are too much of “Lizzies” to marry ourselves… we need some Jane “rocks” to marry to ground the family.
Yeah, I guess that makes sense. You can’t have two leaders in a pair … although maybe we should find Kitty’s who will blindly do whatever we tell them to.
Yeah, I totally agree about the inability to marry Lizzie because of similarity. Can I marry Aunt Gardiner instead? Jane is still just too boring and perfect for me. Then date Kitty for awhile and dump Mary.
Such a good call on marrying Aunt Gardiner. I approve!
