Happy Monday! One of my first and most popular marry date or dump posts asked readers to make the choice between Mr. Darcy, Jay Gatsby, and Rhett Butler. Today I decided to give you their counterparts to choose between today. Let me know in the comments, who you would marry, who you would date, and who you would dump when it comes to Mr. Bingley, Nick Carraway, and Ashles Wilkes. Well at my wedding my father gave a toast that I was a cross between Scarlett and Melanie so I guess I would have to marry Ashley – then date Bingley who is perfectly fun but a little too simple and dump Nick who again is perfectly nice but a little too hapless.
Oh wow. I guess that makes sense, but I thought Ashley would be an automatic dump for everyone. What a wimp! (no offense)
Marry Bingley. I’ve always felt a bit like a Jane anyway, and he’s so stinking adorable isn’t he? Date Nick, because he’s a little bit of a tool but at least you get to go to great parties. Dump Ashley. I don’t think I hate any fictional character as much as I hate Ashley Wilkes. God. That guy. Ugh. Just awful!

Nana….Ashley is not that bad. I would never have married him but remember he was loyal to Melanie! Also remember,Ashley always knew his weakness which most mem would never acknowledge
I would marry Mr. Bingley (it’s Mr. Bingley), Date Nick (we’ll go to great parties and run in the best circles but life with him would be too simple), and dump Ashley (since I never read Gone with the Wind and fell asleep during the movie twice, I don’t know anything about his character).

I’ve only read The Great Gatsby. I started reading Gone With the Wind, but couldn’t get through it for reasons. Never read Jane Austen so I have to go with my gut and say:
Marry Nick, probably out of pity. Date Bingley. Dump Ashley.
