Happy Sunday. I hope everyone is having a lovely weekend. I’m visiting one of my best friends in Boston and reading a Sarah Dessen novel so this weekend is pretty much my definition of heaven. I realized that its been over a month since I’ve shared my favorite literary links. Here are a few that I think you might find interesting (a few might be a little dated):
- If you are looking to read more diverse books start with these suggestions.
- Famous authors define feminism. Can someone send this to Shailene Woodley?
- Ten things you might not have known about Ernest Hemingway.
- Being honest about success when you’re a writer.
- ShadenFreezers. Get ready to laugh.
- 5 reasons women should like Game of Thrones, despite the recent controversy.
- Texting with Sylvia Plath.
- What it means to be a writer.
- Letters between Laura Ingalls Wilder and her daughter/co-author Rose Wilder Lane.
- Where I want to go on my next vacation.
- Cover Reveal for my friend Kate Brauning’s debut YA novel: HOW WE FALL.
- Secondary characters who deserve their own books.
- A review I wrote of CALL ME ZELDA for the blog The Bookshelf.
Super late reply because I was away on vacay but THANK YOU for including my post in this link! I love it!
Thanks Crystal. I loved your post (obviously!).
