When the Lord of the Ring movies came out I was in high school and my entire extended family would go together on opening weekend. My grandmother got the idea that we should all go in costume. Although this amazingness never happened, she decided that if we ever did dress up my sister would go as Galadriel (the most beautiful of elves) and I would go as a hobbit. I chose to believe this was because of my great curly hair. I’ve had an affinity for the hobbits ever since. Today, let me know who you would marry, who you would date, and who you would dump when given the options of Frodo, Sam, and Merry & Pippin (let’s face it you can’t split these guys up).

I would totally marry Sam in a heartbeat. His loyalty is awesome. I also would date Merry & Pippin. Perhaps I’d be a friend to Frodo, but I wouldn’t go out with him.
This definitely seems to be the consensus.
I’m saying the same thing as everyone else and basically for the same reasons. Sam is 100% husband material, dating Merry and Pippin would be worlds of fun, and I couldn’t take Frodo’s moods or burdens, so he gets dumped.
I guess there wasn’t as much debate around this marry date or dump as I thought there would be. I thought someone might take pity on Frodo, but I would do exactly the same thing as you (and everyone else).
Sam = perfect literary husband material
Bringing some debate! Marry Frodo – cleverest, kindest,(Sam’s one flaw was being mean to Gollum) most mature and he’s got a great house! And when he runs off to the Grey Havens I’ll have one of the others 😛 (I’d marry Sam really, but I feel bad for Frodo.)
