Looked around my bookshelves and kindle to figure this top ten tuesday out. It was a huge eye opener to me *blushing* … especially since I’ve become a library junkie lately so this reflects some old tastes. Here it is! Let me know in the comments what authors you’ve bought the most books from.

Thanks to The Broke and the Bookish for hosting this weekly book meme.
What a pretty arrangement of books! We have Levithan in common – he is quite prolific, isn’t he?
I know … I think it’s all the cowritten books he’s written that got him on my list. I’ve read even more of his books at the library!
What a fun and varied list. I think you will think the same about mine.
Yes! Your list is fun and varied as well!
I love the way you’ve done this! I should have counted my Alice Munro as I think she may unjustly have been left out of my Top Ten!
Thank you! I love Alice Munro (obviously).
I am sad to say I have only read Will Grayson, Will Grayson by David Levithan, and only partly by him then. I have pretty much all of his other books on my to read list. Which would you recommend starting with?
My TTT
Oh man … I love so many of his books. I think Every Day or Two Boys Kissing are good ones to start with … although his first novel, Boy Meets Boy is also so fun!
I’ve been wanting to read Every Day anyway, so maybe I’ll start with that one. π
Love that Munro collection! I agree, this was definitely an eye opener of a post for me, too.
Yeah, I took a class in college where I read all of her books and have kept the collection up as she’s continued to publish!
Great list! Yay for Jane Austen and Alice Munro–I only got around to reading a book by Alice Munro this year and I’m looking forward to reading more π
Thanks for dropping by my TTT π
I hope you liked Munro! What book did you read?
Most of the books I read these days come from the library too because there is no way my wallet could support my reading habit.
My TTT
Yeah, most of these are books I got when I was in high school or books my mom also wants to read!
Hi Alison,
This popped up in my inbox today and I thought of you.

Best,
Katy
Katy, this looks great. Thank you SO MUCH for sharing!
I have a bunch of Willig’s on my list of books to check out from the library but she’s one of those I always forget. I’ll definitely have to try her. I have several Sarah MacLean books but for some reason I’ve only read one. Great list!
omg yes to Gail Carson Levine and J.K. Rowling! David Levithan has written so many books, v impressive.
So many Jane Austen books! I’m jealous π
