Happy Tuesday! I’ve been in New York for a little over a week and tonight is my first class. I’m hopefully getting my new library card soon which will cut down on the cost of books, but here are ten books I really want to read but don’t own (yet!). Let me know which books on my list I should definitely make an effort to get my hands on soon! Thanks!
Thanks to The Broke and the Bookish for hosting this weekly book meme.
I knew I was forgetting one! I love Emily Giffin and I’ve heard the book is great. Hope you get to read all of these some time!
Thanks! I’m a big Emily Giffin fan too!
Awesome list! I would definitely say The Book Of Life because my mom said it was one of the best books shes read in a really long time, she reread the ending like 20 times. =)
Interesting. I’ve heard mixed reviews on it, but I enjoyed the other two books in the series so I think I will eventually give it a try. Thanks for commenting!
Beauty Queens is SO GOOD! One of my absolute favorite YA books. I haven’t read any of the others, although I have a copy of Out of My Mind. I think Draper is great from a teaching perspective, but I haven’t found her other work all that enjoyable to read for myself.
I haven’t read any Draper yet, so the jury is still out on her, but I’ve been wanting to read Beauty Queens for a long time. I guess I need to get to it.
Brilliant list. I really enjoyed These Broken Stars. I hope you like it too!
The cover is so beautiful, and people keep recommending it to me!
None of these are on my list, and I have not read any of them yet, but I hope you get these books soon! 😀

Thanks Kim!
I found The Book of Life a really disappointing conclusion to the All Souls Trilogy, but I hope that you like it. Wintergirls looks really great! I have These Broken Stars on my shelves but I don’t know why I haven’t picked it up yet, LOL.
I’ve heard other people be disappointed by The Book of Life too … we’ll see. Thanks for commenting!
Great list! I have read Wintergirls which I really liked. These Broken Stars is also on my list 🙂
Fun! I’m a recent fan of Laurie Halse Anderson, but so far I’ve loved everything of hers that I’ve read.
Too bad Samuel Gompers didn’t see this list!
Meh, I wasn’t a huge fan of The Eye of Minds. Hopefully you’ll like it more! I want to read Wintergirls as well.
Darnet none of those books are on my list! Good luck on your first day of class! I work a trip today and I’m a bit nervous just how you are on your first day of class. Ahhhh! (I’m hiding at a bookstore in the airport until I have to be on the plane lol)
Just got back from class (nothing to be nervous about) Hope your trip was similarly anxiety-reducing.
I definitely want to read Wintergirls and These Broken Stars too! Oh, and The Book of Life! Great choices, there are a lot I need to read as well 🙂
I never understand people who say they just don’t have anything they want to read next!
I just finished These Broken Stars and loved it. Definitely recommend picking that one up!
Thank you! That cover looks so intriguing, I’m so excited to read it.
Great list! I see so many books I want to read and then I see the Willig which I’ve never heard of before today but the garden on the cover makes me want to read it!
Oh my goodness. The Willig books are some of my favorite. It is a series that starts with a book called The Secret History of the Pink Carnation.
Beauty Queens is really good. Just finished it the other day, Hope you enjoy it. 🙂
