Top Ten Places Books Have Made Me Want to Visit

toptentuesday2

For me books and travel are best when intertwined with each other. When I’m going on vacations, I love to read books set in the places I’m visiting. I’ve also planned a few trips based on books, which have been really fun. Here are a few of the top places books have made me want to visit (even though some of them are fantasy places, so I probably won’t make it there). Let me know yours in the comments!

    1. There are so many books that make me want to go to Paris, starting with Madeline and now probably being Anna and Isla’s books. I was lucky enough to go when I was in college and I feel like Hemingway was the author I was thinking of when I was actually there.

  1. Ah, this list rocks.
I seriously considered From the Mixed-Up Files of of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler. It was only beat out because it wasn’t so much the place, as the idea of running away and hiding in a big building that hooked me in. I also would love to visit the moors of Wuthering Heights. So gloomy and great!
