Marry, Date or Dump: Witches Edition

SS_EP9-thethreewitches-still

It’s almost Halloween. Who has their costume ready? In spirit of this spooky season, I’ve given you three literary witches to choose from for this week’s marry, date, or dump. We have Elphaba from Wicked, Diana Bishop from A Discovery of Witches, and Nymphadora Tonks from the Harry Potter series. If these witches don’t speak to you, feel free to substitute any of your choices in. I can’t wait to see who you choose in the comments!

  1. I thought Diana Bishop was a little whinny so dump her – Date Elphaba, which might be a mistake not to marry her as she really would sacrifice for the people she loved, Marry Tonks – I need someone with a sense of fun.

Also have to give a shout out to Samantha from Bewitched!

  2. I would definitely dump Diana. Hated the books, hated the characters. I would marry Elphaba who really has her act together, has good values and knows whats what — and date Tonks because she would be so much fun!

  3. Dear Alison, I don’t like any of these 3.
But as we are talking witchcraft, I would date Prof. Severus Snape and Malfoy senior, I bet nobody thought about this one. There is something about them, very appealing , their voices, deep, slow and powerfull, the long hair, strange look and nice features. Ok, maybe not that nice, but somehow attractive in a bisare way.
I would dump all other witches and I would never marry any.
