Happy February everyone. I picked three more beloved fantasy/science fiction series for todays game. Even as I’m typing this, I’m not sure which books I’m going to choose for which categories. For people new to the game, in the comments you say which book you would read (your favorite/perfect as is), which you’d rewrite (you like it, but there is something you want to change about it), and which you’d burn (your least favorite). Now for my turn …
I guess I would:
- Read: Ender’s Game
- Rewrite: Lord of the Rings and take out the Tom Bombadil scenes.
- Burn: A Song of Fire and Ice … I loved this series at the start, but having been slogging my way through book five for over six months now. I just want to know who gets the throne! Also why kill so many characters off?

I would read Lord of the Rings – rewrite Game of Thrones – take out all the boring parts and burn Ender’s Game – I am not sure I like there are so many sequels.
Yeah, I haven’t read any of the Ender’s Game sequels … but I like the book so much I would still keep it around.
