I didn’t realise Bridget Jones was based on Jane Austin. Good to know.
I think it’s a little bit of a lose adaptation, but I think Hugh Grant is supposed to be Mr. Wickham and Colin Firth is (as named) Mr. Darcy!
I forgot he was called Darcy. I haven’t actually read or seen any Jane Austins books/films but it was still interesting to find out 🙂
