Lots of my friends have been watching the new season of Game of Thrones. I’m waiting to try and get through book five of the series first (I’m stuck on a Reek Chapter and completely unmotivated to keep going), but I thought it would be fun to play marry, date, or dump with some Game of Thrones characters since it is definitely in the air. I picked Dany, Cersei, and Sansa. Let me know in the comment who you’d marry, who you’d date, and who you’d dump. Please try to keep spoilers at a minimum (especially for anything that happens to Sansa in Book 5 … she’s my favorite). Also I will probably pick three men from the series for next week, so feel free to make suggestions!
Here are my picks:
- Marry: Sansa. She is one of my two favorite characters in the series.
- Date: Daenerys. She comes off as a little too perfect to me, but still like her character a lot.
- Dump: Cersei. Way too main and sneaky. I would constantly be looking over my shoulder. Plus she only has eyes for you know who.

Date Sansa. She’s a nice girl. She deserves some happiness.
Dump Cersei, although I know this would probably mean my death.

I’d quite like to cheat and marry Arya… can I do that?
If not, I’d marry Sansa because she’s a genuinely kind person and far too innocent for such a horrible world!
Date Daenerys because she’s lovely but just a tiny bit terrifying.
Dump Cersei because she’s crazy, uncontrollable and power-crazy.
Totally fair to make substitutions! I definitely thought about putting Arya on the list!
I would Marry Daenerys – I think she might “win” – Date Cersei – you would have lots of interesting sex and Dump Sansa – a little too perfect for me.
