I’ve said before that I think one of my main measures for a good book are how reluctant I am to move on after finishing the last page. P.S. I Still Love You, by Jenny Han, definitely earns high marks in this test. I’m still spending lots of time thinking about Lara Jean and her suitors. In all this thinking time, I realized that Lara Jean’s companion novels set up the perfect trifecta of boys to marry, date or dump: Peter, Josh, and John McClaren. So if you’ve read either, or both, books feel free to jump in and let me know in the comments who you’d marry, who you’d date, an who you’d dump.
Here are my picks:
- Marry: Peter (even though he makes mistakes I have definitely been team Peter since page 1)
- Date: John Ambrose McClaren (that’s right, we’re on middle name terms)
- Dump: Josh (maybe a little too passive aggressive for me … even though I know plenty of people who would strongly disagree with that characterization)

I haven’t yet read these two books, though I love Jenny Han. I read her summer series though with Belly, Jeremiah, and Conrad. 🙂

I definitely recommend these books (as you can probably already tell from my post). I like them even more than The Summer I Turned Pretty trilogy.
I haven’t read P.S. I Still Love You yet so right now I’m Marry Peter, Date Josh and Dump John. This might change haha but I love Peter so that one might not.

I just watched the Netflix film. Loved it. Went on to buy the books.
