Top Ten Fairytale Retellings I’ve Read

toptentuesday

WIth Mechanica, by Betsy Cornwell, coming out this month I was definitely already in the mood to answer this week’s top ten tuesday topic: fairytale retellings. I was obsessed with CInderella retellings as a middle schooler and even though that interest has cooled a little bit, I definitely am looking to read more fairytale retellings in the coming days. Here are a few I’ve read that I’ve really enjoyed. Can’t wait to read yours in the comments!

Thanks to The Broke and the Bookish for hosting this weekly book meme!

  1. Wow. I keep seeing Sarah J. Maas’s book in lists. If I made a list, I would have some of the same books on it. Maggie’s book, Ella Enchanted. But top of my list would be Goose Girl by Shannon Hale. I also loved Wildwood Dancing by Juliet Marillier–the retelling of the twelve dancing princesses story.

  2. We have a few of the same books on our lists! I really want to read Court of Thorns and Roses. I’m actually not a fan of Cinder…I seem to be the only one! Here’s my TTT!
