Happy Monday! Here are three funny storybook characters for you to marry, date, or dump (once they grow up of course!). We’ve got grumpy Alexander from Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day, by Judith Viorst, creative Harold from Harold and the Purple Crayon,by Crockett Johnson, and naughty Max from Where the Wild Things Are, by Maurice Sendak. Excited to see who you pick!
Here are my choices:
- Marry: Harold (the obvious choice, he could draw us a mansion to live in after all).
- Date: Alexander (if things got too rough we’d just move to Australia).
- Dump: Max (he was always too wild for me).
Good one -/ marry Harold – so creative – date max so adventurous- dump Alexander so grumpy
I love Alexander’s humor. Interesting that you have a different take!
I had the same choices you had. Definitely dump Max, date Alexander, and marry Harold!
Yay! I’m glad I’m not alone!
Initally I thought, of course, marry Harold! Then I thought more about Max, though. There’s a lot to be said for a man who knows his own demons, and has a history of escaping them! Not to mention one that understands various ways of talking about love. Honestly, I think he’d probably be the best choice. So I’ll marry him. Date Harold, he’s good for sprint adventures! Never could stand Alexander for long.
Interesting reasoning. I like it!
