I’ve really tried to up my reading of debut authors this year (because I hope to be one of them before too long). Believe me it was a long list that I had to whittle down into ten, but these are the debut authors I’m most excited about. In the meantime, if you haven’t read their debut novels yet, I definitely recommend each and every one of these books!
Thanks to The Broke and the Bookish for hosting this weekly book meme!

Yay! I loved Truest too. I can’t wait for more people to catch on to how amazing this book is.
We share a few books this week! Great list! My TTT
Thank you! I loved your list as well! So many great debuts this year.
Thanks, dear one! ❤ Means so much to me.
Of course! Can’t wait until I’m reading your sophomore novel!
Red Queen looks so interesting! I keep seeing it every time I’m on GR. Must be popular. 🙂

I definitely recommend Red Queen. It’s very fast paced and exciting!
I’m so excited about Becky Albertalli’s sophomore novel. I’m intrigued to see if it does get made into a film.
Great list. You have a few books on here that I have read and enjoyed myself. I think I am also going to have to add a few of these to my Christmas wishlist, it looks like I have missed out on some great debuts recently. I am especially excited to read The Wrath and the Dawn, I have heard so many good things about that one. Here’s my TTT.
Great list! Yoon and Albertalli made my list this week too – in fact I think Albertalli has been on pretty much every list I’ve seen this week. 🙂
I really need to hurry up and read An Ember in the Ashes and The Wrath and the Dawn! I need new and amazing fantasy in my life and everyone loves those two!! I’m an waiting oh so impatiently for Becky and Nicole Yoons next books! I NEED THEM!
Still need to read Red Queen! It’s been sitting on my bookshelf for ages but I’ve been reading other books and haven’t got around to reading it yet.
