Happy Tuesday! It’s a freebie for Top Ten Tuesday and I’m talking about middle grade books! I don’t know if its because I’m in a writing program for kids or doing some freelance curriculum work aimed at middle school students or just that there are so many good middle grade books out, but I’m getting into these books a lot. Here are some of my favorites from the last year or so. Let me know what you think!
Thanks to The Broke and the Bookish for hosting this weekly book meme!
I keep meaning to read Brown Girl Dreaming! 🙂 Thanks for the reminder. I’m trying to explore more middle grade, so it’s great to see these recommendations.
That is such a magical and amazing book!
The Zoo at the End of the World looks great! I’ll have to add it to my TBR list.
I loved Wonder. I get such a thrill whenever a kid comes to my store looking for it. I always tell their parents to borrow it when the kid is done.
I loved that book! It was one of my favorites from the summer! A Wonder was a huge gateway into me reading MG again as an adult.
Great list! I really want to read Wonder soon, I’ve heard nothing but good things!
It’s really good! Hope you enjoy!
ooo these all look good! My TTT
Thanks!
I love Wonder! We just read it for my book group and I was reminded how lovely it is. And I finally read the Julian Chapter for the first time and that added a lot to the story for me. Thanks for sharing!
I said this in a comment above, but Wonder was such a gateway MG book for me. It will always have a special place in my reading heart.
I really need to read Wonder. 🙂
Check out my TTT.
Everlost really looks interesting as does Wonder. Thank you so much for the recommendations. This week I did Favorite WWII Books for my Top Ten Tuesday.
