As I write this I’m lying in front of a fan wearing as few clothes as possible, so it must be summer. And even though I’m not happy about putting up with the humidity and the mosquitos and all the New York summer smells I forgot about from last year, I am very, very happy to be in the season of beach reads. Here are ten books I hope to read in the sun and on the sand this summer. What books are you looking forward to read this summer? I’d love to know in the comments.

Summer Days and Summer Nights sounds interesting to me because of the authors in it. And the second time I’m seeing The Summer of Chasing Mermaids as I am making my ttt rounds. I suppose that is a sign, haha. Great list.
I started Summer Days on the beach last week. The short story format was actually perfect for beach reading. I’m always excited to read the stories by my favorites, but also feel like I’m discovering new authors as well!

Love & Gelato is an awesome book for the summer. I recently read it and it’s one of my new favorites. Summer Days and Summer Nights is a good anthology but unfortunately, some of the stories weren’t for me at all. I hope you enjoy all the books!!

summer days and summer nights, the summer of chasing mermaids, and the unexpected everything are on my list this week as well! I loved all of those so much, and i think they’re perfect for tanning 🙂 Love and Gelato and You Know Me Well are on my TBR too, as well as P.S. I like You! So many good releases this summer!
