Happy (almost!) holidays, friends. I’m leaving for California tomorrow to spend 2 weeks with my family and I am BEYOND excited. Hopefully, there will be at least a few books under our Christmas tree this year. There are probably hundreds that I’d be happy to receive. Here are just the first ones that came to mind (a surprising number of adult books and biographies on this list).
Thanks to The Broke and the Bookish for hosting this weekly book meme!
‘Split World’ has always looked like an interesting read but I’ve never actually looked up what it’s all about. Guess I should remedy this. ๐ Hope you find these under the tree.
Thank you! I hope you get some books you’ve been wanting this holiday too!
I absolutely adored Highly Illogical Behaviour! I hope that some of these books turn up under your tree!
Now I’m even more excited to read that one!
Great list! Unfortunately I didn’t like Vinegar Girl, but I’d love to check out Swing Time. ๐ Merry Christmas!
Interesting. I will keep that in mind!
The Victoria: The Queen book looks so good. She was so fascinating and multi-faceted that I’d love to know more about her. Curious about Every Love Story is a Ghost Story too. I just love that title. Great list!
I’ve heard good things about Vinegar Girl. Plus, that cover looks absolutely stunning hehe ๐ Happy reading! http://www.curious-daisy.com/top-ten-tuesday/ten-books-i-wouldnt-mind-santa-leaving-under-my-tree/
I know someone who really loved Vinegar Girl, so I hope you like it, too. Happy holidays!
A good list
I’ve also got Here I Am on my top eight list (I ran out of time to blog about 10!). I’ve also pondered about Victoria too. If you get to read it, I’ll be interested to know what you think.
