Happy Tuesday and happy 2017! One of my reading resolutions is to read more debut novels this year. I did a *pretty* good job of this in 2016, but I want to do even better in 2017. I am genuinely excited about all these debuts coming out in 2017. We’ve got beautiful covers, two books from New School MFA Grads (both graduated ahead of me, but also both so kind and such good writers!), and surprisingly one “adult” book. What debuts are you excited about from 2017?
Thank you to The Broke and the Bookish for hosting this weekly book meme! It is so much fun!
Wintersong is popping up on a lot of lists and looks interesting. I love the cover and I’m curious about it.
I’m definitely interested to get to that one. I agree the cover is gorgeous!
Great list! I also had Wintersong on my list! Some of these I haven’t heard of so I will ddefinitely have to check them out
Girl Out of Water made my list too! I’m definitely excited for American Street, The Hate U Give, and The Education of Margot Sanchez, as well.

So many good books coming out this year! I loved your list!
Great list! I keep hearing shout outs to The Hate U Give.
I’ve heard really good things about this book and love that author’s twitter, so I have high expectations.
I absolutely love the cover of Wintersong and The Crystal Ribbon looks good too. I’m not great at keeping up with debut authors so I’m busy taking notes from everyone else’s lists!
I’m definitely adding a lot to my TBR list today!
American Street sounds like it could be good. 🙂
Check out my TTT.
