Happy Valentine’s Day! In case you haven’t notices, I LOVE romances. I love reading them. I love writing them. There are very few “tropes” within romance that I don’t like, but one of my absolute favorites is when friends fall in love. Maybe this is a little spoilery, but here are ten books about romances between friends that I adore. Friends first romances are my favorite! It’s much easier to root for a couple and believe in them if they actually seem to know and like each other!

I love Meg Wolitzer. The Interestings is my favorite of hers, but a lot of them are good!
Aw, Amy & Roger are SO cute together, and I adore ‘Me and You.’ Makes me all the more aware how much I *need* to read more of Morgan’s and Emery’s novels. Two of my favorite contemporary YA authors! 🙂

I think so many of us love these kinds of romances because so many relationships really do start this way, with friendship that blossoms gradually into romantic love. Swoon…. ❤
