I always *hope* that I love a book when I start reading. But sometimes, whether its an ARC sent to me, a rec from a friend that I can’t turn down, or something assigned for class, I’m a little skeptical of how much I will enjoy a story. Also sometimes books seem like they are going to seem way too sad for me. These ten books are books I thought I’d like but ended up loving. Hopefully there will be many more books to add to this list in the years to come!

I loved Second Chance Summer. It’s such a good read. 🙂
I know. I love Morgan Matson, but I thought that one might be too sad for me to love it. But I was wrong! So so good!
Great list! I really need to read North and South, and I’d like to get to more Margaret Atwood too. =)
Love both of those books!
I just finished reading Elsewhere. My niece loved it, so I thought I’d try it.
North and South was great. Especially the adaptation with Richard Armitage.
I haven’t seen the adaptation. I’m going to have to find that and watch it!
I also really enjoyed Elsewhere and All the Bright Places. Elsewhere was recommended by a friend, I don’t know that I would have picked it up myself! North & South is on my list 🙂
