Happy Tuesday! I don’t even remember what it’s like to go into a bookstore and have no ideas for books I want to read. These are a collection of books that have been on my TBR – and in some cases on my bookshelf – for WAY too long. Tell me if you have tips in the comments for what to start reading ASAP and what I can skip/hold off reading a bit longer.
Thank you to The Artsy Reader Girl for hosting this weekly book meme!
Throne of Glass made my TTT too–I really need to read it! And all of them! And everything by Sarah J Maas haha! Happy reading 🙂
I know. I love ACOTAR so so much
I was always intrigued by the Libba Bray trilogy but I’m yet to add it to my TBR!
Yeah. I love her so much, but it seems like a lot to take on!
Kindred was brilliant. I read that two years ago and absolutely loved it. Octavia Butler is such a fab writer.
That’s what everyone says! Hopefully I will get to it soon!
Throne of Glass….the final book comes out these year so you could marathon and catch up right as it comes out and never have to wait the horrible wait in between! My Top Ten
Ooooh such a good idea!
Oooh so many great books on your list! I really enjoyed The Secret History, Flowers for Algernon, and A Great and Terrible Beauty ❤
Mentally bumping those books up the list!
I finally got around to Reading Flowers for Algernon last year for Vintage SciFi month, but it really wasn’t Science Fiction, there was one short medical thing that was futurustic, but the story was basically about human nature. It was still pretty good though. I finished Kindred yesterday, and I loved and adored it, again not really SciFi like I expected, but as Historical Fiction it is stellar! ☺
Interesting! So many people are telling me to read Kindred. I guess I need to get to that one ASAP.
I tried Afterworlds last year and only made it about a quarter of the way through! I hope you enjoy it more though and Throne of Glass, it’s one of my favourite series.

I own both books, so I’ll probably give them both a try! Thanks!
No problem!
I haven’t read any of these, but Throne of Glass sounds interesting. Here is my Top Ten Tuesday.
Midnight in the Garden has some of the most memorable characters I’ve ever read. I can’t recommend it enough!
I enjoyed Afterworlds so I suggest you start there….but I am a YA junkie sooooo…..lol
Happy reading!
I have tried to read Possession so many times but I’ve finally had to admit that we’re just not friends! I did enjoy Midnight in the Garden of Good Evil though it’s been years since I read it!
At one point, I want to pick up “Throne of Glass” and see what the fuss is about. I don`t know if I`ll continue, but I want to give the first book a chance. Good luck with your reading!

I haven’t read any of these either. I won’t ever consider reading Throne of Glass series ever because it is just so long? And I hate long series. But you have some nice books on your list. I do hope you get time to read some of these soon 🙂

Great list! The Secret History, A Great and Terrible Beauty and Possession are all books I need to cross off my TBR, too.
I had a different read by Angela Carter on my list but I would love to read Nights At The Circus too! It looks so good!
Good choices, feel free to check out my TTT list 🙂
