Happy Almost-Valentine’s Day, friends! Last year for Top Ten Tuesday I listed my favorite friends first romances. This year I’m going with another trope I love from romance, the love triangle. Maybe it’s cliched. Maybe it’s overdone. I don’t care. The automatic tension gets me every time. And here are ten of my favorites! Let me know how you feel about love triangles in the comments! And have a happy cupid day, no matter your relationship status, tomorrow!
Thank you to The Artsy Reader Girl for hosting this weekly book meme!
I am not a fan of the love triangles, but I can definitely appreciate that you’ve included some awesome books in your list today! π
Haha! Fair. So many people don’t like them, unless they are done super well.
Love triangles can be so good, as long as they are written in a good way. Generally speaking I am not a big fan. But the love triangle in ACOMAF is actually written so perfectly.
That’s definitely one of my favorites!
I’m okay with love triangles if they are well-written. You’re right that they bring on tension. I liked how it was portrayed in The Hunger Games.
Peeta vs Gale is definitely one of my favorites!
oh I hate love triangles especially when the choices are two great guys or two great girls. I suppose it’s easy to choice if one of them is bad but still frustrating.
have a lovely day.
Haha I expected a lot of people to comment saying they hate love triangles. I hope you have a lovely day too!
I hate love triangles, but you have picked some good books here!

I’m not the biggest fan of love triangles, but I do love the triangles in P.S. I Still Love You and Shadow and Bone, mainly because they’re so well done π
This topic is dangerous. So many people hate love triangles (including me). I can live with them if they donβt take over the entire story.
