Happy Tuesday, friends! Here are some books I LOVED but don’t anticipate reading again. Some of them are just really long or seem less politically correct (looking at you Gone With the Wind) or appealed to me in ways other than plot or character development (which are usually the two things that will make me pick up a book to reread). What books did you love but won’t reread? Or more interestingly, what books do you love to reread?
Thanks to That Artsy Reader Girl for hosting this weekly book meme!
Haha I totally understand why The Selection is on this list! It’s still a guilty pleasure of mine though xD
I LOVED that book so much, but I don’t think I would reread the book. But never say never, I guess!
Ready Player One- same here. I liked it but don’t really want to tackle it again? Game of thrones I actually have re- read a few times but probably won’t again. Gone Girl I’d like to read, if I can ever get to it!
Yeah I think with all the books you mentioned part of the fun was finding out what would happen, so rereading doesn’t make a lot of sense to me. But maybe once it’s been longer since I’ve read them, I’ll feel differently!
Interesting list! 🙂 I don’t know if I’d reread Gone Girl either. I adore that book, but I’m not sure it would be as good the second time around.
Agreed! I feel the exact same way!
I don’t know if I could reread Perks either because in my head I am convinced I didn’t like it but then I go back and read my review and apparently I liked it so something has gotten muddled in my head haha
Interesting. I really liked it. But I don’t want to mess up the image I have of it in my head!
I don’t re-read books very often. Mostly it is because I don’t have time, but there are a few favorites I’ve read more than once. Here is our Top Ten Tuesday
I LOVE rereading, but I don’t find as much time for it as I used to.
I don’t think I’d reread The Perks of Being A Wallflower either, I actually preferred the movie. I don’t know about Gone Girl, on the one hand, it wouldn’t as good knowing the twist, on the other hand, I get tempted to go back and read books with twists to see if I can spot any clues as to what’s going to happen!

I didn’t even think of trying to spot the clues. As a writer, I probably should be doing that. Not that I write suspense … yet!
I don’t write suspense either, I’m just nosy!
I haven’t read any of these books yet but The Perks and Ready Player One are definitely on my TBR. And GoT? I love the show but I don’t know if I would ever read that series, just because it is so long? 😀
I can’t re-read books. Whenever I think of re-reading anything, my horrible TBR comes to my mind 😀 So I twisted my today’s topic.

Gone Girl is definitely one I have no interest in reread it. I enjoyed it but I don’t want to spend anymore time with those characters! Same with Ready Player One. Great selections!
