Trying to Be Thankful for My Problems

Happy Thanksgiving friends! I hope everyone has a day of celebration, family, and pie (especially pie) ahead of them today. In thinking about writing a few thoughts for Thanksgiving, in a year that I have had SO MUCH to be thankful for, I remembered that one of my main New Years resolutions was to try and cultivate being a grateful person. Let me know your picks in the comments.  Continue reading “Marry, Date or Dump: Peeta, Gale, & Finnick”

Marry, Date or Dump: Miles, the Colonel, and Takumi from Looking for Alaska

Looking-for-Alaska

Pizzamas last week, combined with rereading Looking for Alaska, by John Green, for class recently, made me wonder who you all think is the most crush-worthy character in this book. I personally don’t think it’s Pudge/Miles … but all the characters are pretty flawed as well. I’m super curious to see who you would marry, who you would date, and who you would dump between Miles, the Colonel, and Takumi. Let me know in the comments!

Review and Giveaway: How We Fall, by Kate Brauning

HowWeFallCoverIn case you haven’t noticed, I am a huge fan of YA romance. I especially like books where the couple just has to be together, but there are seemingly insurmountable obstacles in their way. That being said when I started How We Fall, by Kate Brauning, I was a little wary of the romance between main characters Jackie and Marcus.

Why, you ask?

Did I mention Jackie and Marcus were cousins? Continue reading “Review and Giveaway: How We Fall, by Kate Brauning”
