Happy Tuesday, friends! I love book titles. A good book title will definitely convince me to read a book (see: The Princess Saves Herself in this One below). And I keep a long list of potential titles I might use some day as a writer. Here are some of my favorite book titles that stood out to me! They are all also excellent reads!
Spinster, by Kate Bolick
The Princess Saves Herself in this One, by Amanda Lovelace
The Importance of Being Earnest, by Oscar Wilde
There Are More Beautiful Things Than Beyonce, by Morgan Parker
Simon vs the Homo Sapiens Agenda, by Becky Albertali
The Girls’ Guide to Hunting and Fishing, by Melissa Bank
Special Topics in Calamity Physics, by Marisha Pessl
The Smell of Other People’s Houses, by Bonnie-Sue Hitchcock
I have hard great things about Simon vs the Homo Sapiens Agenda! I really need to get that or just get it at the library. Well, if they translated it already. 🙂 Great list.
Oh I also included The Princess Saves Herself in This One on my list. I find it so empowering and a really good preview of the poetry to come.
I agree. My favorite contemporary book of poetry, for sure!
My sweet Simon made it here too! I loved that book and I can’t wait for the movie!
Me too!
Great titles! 🙂 Simon is an amazing title. It intrigued me before everyone was raving about it!
Haha. Me too. Except I thought it was going to be Science Fiction.
Ohh Simon made it here too 😀 and the Princess Saves Herself is a book that I am really looking forward to reading. Great list 🙂

It is so so so good! you won’t regret it!
The Princess saves herself in this one does catch your attention together with that simple cover. I have Simon on my list too.
Simon is such a good title. I’ve seen it on so many lists today!
I love the title of The Princess Saves Herself In This One, but poetry is just not really my thing!

They Both Die At The End is one of the best titles ever. I still need to read that one.
Your list is full of books that I have actually already or would like to read. I really loved the title for Spinster. I love that she embraced it!
Excellent picks! A Marisha Pessl book made my list this week too. 🙂
